Hyundai Venue Gets Over 45,000 Bookings; 55% For BlueLink Enabled Variant
Hyundai India entered into subcompact SUV space with the all-new Venue that’s positioned against Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. Prices of the Hyundai Venue start from Rs 6.50 lakh and go up to Rs 11.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Official bookings for the SUV were begun from 3rd May and the very first day it garnered over 2,000 bookings.
Recently, Hyundai announced that the Venue bagged 33,000 bookings with 2 lakh enquiries and delivered its 1,000 units in a single day. Now, the booking figure has crossed 45,000 mark and over 55% customers are opting the BlueLink enabled variant. In terms of sales, the Hyundai Venue will beat the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza in coming months. Attributes such as modern styling, in-car connectivity and feature-packed interior, efficient powertrain and of-course the competitive pricing are working in its favour.

The Hyundai Venue comes with two petrol and one diesel powertrain options. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, with a 6-speed manual and a dual-clutch gearbox, delivers power worth 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. The 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor pushes out 82bhp with 114Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission only. Read – Hyundai Venue Waiting Period Increased
The 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine, on the other hand, develops a maximum power of 89bhp and 220Nm of torque. The oil burner is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Hyundai Venue is the first connected vehicle in its segment, thanks to its BlueLink connectivity system. It offers 10 features along with 33 connectivity features including road-side assistance, geo-fencing, SOS, destination sharing, speed alerts, etc.
