Hyderabad has the highest waiting period among 20 cities where Venue is in extraordinary demand.

The South Korean carmaker recently entered the subcompact SUV space in India with the all-new Hyundai Venue. Packed with advanced connected features, efficient powertrains, modern design and of-course the competitive pricing, the SUV has been attracting a good chuck of buyers. And as a result the Venue now commands a waiting period of up to 6 months. Hyderabad has the highest waiting period of 6 months among 20 cities where Hyundai Venue is in extraordinary demand.

Prices of the Hyundai Venue petrol start from Rs 6.50 lakh and go up to Rs 11.10 lakh. The diesel variants cost between Rs 7.75 lakh – Rs 10.84 lakh. The new subcompact SUV from the Korean carmaker is slightly more affordable than most of its rivals including Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza (Rs 7.78 lakh – Rs 10.50 lakh), Mahindra XUV300 (Rs 7.9 lakh – Rs 11.99 lakh ) and Ford EcoSport (Rs 7.83 lakh – Rs 11.9 lakh). Claimed to be India’s first connected vehicle, the Hyundai Venue comes with embedded eSIM, powered by Vodafone-Idea, for Hyundai’s BlueLink. It provides access to multiple functions such as climate control, remote start, geofencing, Indian-accented English voice assist system, SOS alert and more. Engine setup includes a 118bhp, 1.0, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol, a 82bhp, 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol and a 89bhp, 1.4L, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel. Transmissions on offer are a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic unit.
