Hyundai Aura Expected Features and Interior Details
Hyundai Aura subcompact sedan is all set to hit Indian showrooms on 21st January, 2020. Ahead of its launch, the carmaker has begun accepting pre-orders for a sum of Rs 10,000. The all-new Hyundai Aura will share its platform, design bits and interior features with the newly-launched Grand i10 Nios hatchback.
The dashboard layout, controls and seats will be carried over from the hatchback. The compact sedan will feature an 8-0-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For connectivity purpose, the Hyundai Aura will offer the iBlue audio remote smartphone application as we have seen in the Grand i10 Nios. The car will also get a 5.3-inch digital speedometer and MID, an Arkamys sound system, a rear centre armrest and wireless charging. The Hyundai Aura will be made available with three engine options – a 1.2L Kappa petrol, a 1.2L diesel and a 1.0L turbo petrol. The 1.2L petrol and diesel motors produce a maximum power of 83bhp with 114Nm and 75bhp with 190Nm respectively.
The turbocharged petrol version will deliver 100bhp with 172Nm and come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The 1.2L petrol and diesel models can be had either with a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT gearbox. The carmaker will also offer a factory-fitted CNG option on the 1.2L petrol motor.
