Nissan’s low-cost brand, Datsun began its second inning in the Indian market in 2014 with the Go hatchback. Now, the company has completed three years in the country. With an aim to commemorate the occasion, the Japanese carmaker has introduced a new service package for its redi-GO owners across the country. Called the ‘Datsun CARE’, this special service plan will provide 10% (approx) discount on periodic and general repairs of the hatchback. Additionally, the Datsun redi-GO owners will also receive free value added services worth around Rs 5,000.
Besides this, the Datsun CARE package includes 100% coverage of parts and 24×7 road-side assistance (transferable). This special plan also covers scheduled services and their associated spare part costs, labour charges and taxes. Moreover, it has other important value additions such as replacement of brake and clutch components, replacement of wiper blades once a year, wheel alignment and balancing, extended warranty with road-side assistance, exterior washes and interior cleaning. Save for tyres and battery replacement and accident damage, the Datsun CARE plan also covers costs associated to the redi-GO maintenance. Since the plan is car specific, it will be transferred to the new owner in case of change of ownership. This benefits the seller by commanding a better resale value, while the buyer gains an assurance of quality maintenance along with the car. Customers can choose from three packages –
