Datsun India Honours PV Sindhu With the rediGO Sport

Compared to the regular model, the rediGO Sport gets a 9 additional features changes including the bold strips and accents on the exterior.

As promised, Nissan’s low cost car brand Datsun has honoured Rio Olympic silver medallist by presenting her with the new Datsun redi-GO Sport. For people not in the know, the rediGO Sport Limited Edition was launched in the country on September 29, 2016 in the presence of Sakshi Malik. Malik was also the first customer of the redi-GO Sport.

With Datsun redi-GO SPORT we are committed to providing mobility to Young India, the go-getters of the country, with an outstanding product that has attractive features and dazzling style. And we are proud to give one to P.V. Sindhu who has brought laurels to this country for her sporting excellence.”

PV Sindhu said, “I am excited to get the peppy-looking Datsun redi-GO SPORT. The design evokes a bold, can-do attitude and I am looking forward to driving the car. It will also enable me to move around for training and help me strive for further success in my sport.”

Compared to the regular model, the rediGO Sport gets a 9 additional features changes including the bold strips and accents on the exterior. Other changes include sporty roof spoiler, remote keyless entry, rear parking sensor, front power windows, etc. It comes in three new body colours – Ruby, White and Grey. Based on the top-of-the-line variant, the redi-GO Sport is priced at Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Since it’s only a limited edition, it receives no mechanical changes. It continues to feature the same 800cc, 3-cylinder, petrol mill that is good for 53bhp and 72Nm.
