Custom Suzuki Swift Sport with twin air-scoops looks aggressive – Unveiled
The custom Suzuki Swift Sport is unveiled at the 2019 Bangkok Motor Show
Japanese automaker, Suzuki Motor has unveiled a modified version of the Swift Sport at the 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show. While the original design has been retained, Suzuki designers have mildly tweaked some of the styling elements to further enhance the sporty looks of the hatchback.
The Suzuki Swift Sport custom model gets the sporty bumper, striking diffuser and the mesh-type honeycomb grille. The hatchback is now equipped with body-coloured headlamp eyelashes and dual racing strips on the hood. Twin air-scoops can be seen on the top of the hood.
The custom job seems limited to the decals, though the air-scoops on the front fenders add to the aggressive profile. The rear design remains largely identical to the standard Swift Sport, though it gets revised tail-lights with a smoke-effect. The cabin also remains the same, offering all-black scheme with contrasting red trim.
Under the hood of the Suzuki Swift Sport is a 1.4-litre Boosterjet petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing an impressive 138bhp of power at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 230Nm between 2,500-3,500rpm. Transmission options are likely to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.

The Suzuki Swift Sport is fitted to performance-tuned Monroe shock absorbers and a bigger strut bar, and a new torsion beam for higher roll stiffness. It was speculated that Maruti Suzuki will launch the Swift Sport in India, that didn’t happen. The Sport model will be expensive for the price sensitive Indian market.
