2020 TVS NTorq 125 BS6 Power Figure Revealed
TVS Motor Company has revealed engine details of the BS6 TVS NTorq 125 scooter. The vehicle’s updated model comes with the 124.8cc, 3-valve, air-cooled engine benefited with fuel injection technology. The BS6 NTorq is claimed to deliver a maximum power of 9.25bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.5Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.
The BS4-complaint version of the scooter was good enough for 9.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.5Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Compared to the BS4 model, the BS6 TVS NTorq 125 is slightly less powerful and the power comes in earlier at 7000rpm. The torque figure, however, remains unchanged.
The fuel tank capacity of the 2020 TVS NTorq 125 BS6 is relatively bigger (0.8L) than the BS4 version. With a tank capacity of 5.8L, the scooter now weighs 1.9kg heavier than the old model. The updated version carries a kerb weight of 118kg. Read – New TVS-BMW Motorcycle to be launched in 2021
The 2020 TVS NTorq BS6 has been offered in Drum brake and Disc brake variant. While the former has been priced at Rs 65,975, the latter one costs Rs 69,975. The 2020 TVS NTorq Race Edition with LED headlamp is available at Rs 72,455. All prices are ex-showroom. Official bookings and deliveries for the updated model will begin in coming weeks.
