BS6 Bajaj Platina 110 H Gear commuter motorcycle has been launched at Rs 59,802. This makes it around Rs 3,431 more expensive than its BS4 version that was priced at Rs 56,371. All prices are ex-showroom.
The commuter’s updated model comes with a BS6-compliant 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that’s good enough for 8.44bhp at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5,000rpm. While the torque figure remains unchanged, the power output is slightly dropped. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed gearbox. The commuter offers a top speed of 90kmph. Save for the BS6 powertrain, no changes have been made to the bike. The BS6 Bajaj Platina 110 H Gear sits on the same tubular single down tube with lower cradle chassis. Its suspension setup includes hydraulic, telescopic front and SOS with Nitrox gas canister unit at the rear.

Dimensionally, the The BS6 Bajaj Platina 110 H Gear measures 2006mm in length, 713mm in width, 1100mm in height with a wheelbase of 1255mm. The bike has a saddle height of 804mm and a ground clearance of 200mm. It carries a kerb weight of 122kg and offers a fuel tank capacity of 11-litres.
Some of its key features include a digital console with gear shift guide (GSG), anti skid braking and more. The bike comes in two colour schemes – Black and Red.
