The automaker aims to further expand the Punch mini SUV model lineup this year with the addition of new CNG variant. The CNG kit will be offered with the 1.2L petrol engine that’s good for 85bhp and 113Nm. Though, the new Tata Punch CNG will be slightly less powerful and torquier than its petrol version. It will deliver power close to 70-75bhp and torque around 100Nm. Tata is also working on the Punch diesel and Punch EV, but their launch timeline is yet to be revealed.

Tata Motors will soon introduce the Safari SUV with a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The new gasoline unit will be offered with three gearbox options – a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic and a DCT automatic. No cosmetic and feature changes will be made to the Safari petrol. It will look similar to the diesel version and come with the same set of features.
Tata Harrier Petrol
Similar to the Safari, the Tata Harrier petrol will be made available with a new 1.5L turbo motor benefited with direct injection system. It will be more powerful and efficient than the MPFI (multi point fuel injection) engines. In fact, it will have lower emission levels.
