BS6 TVS NTorq 125 Prices Start at Rs 65,975
TVS Motor Company has revealed the prices of the BS6-compliant NTorq 125 scooter. The updated model is available in two variants – Drum brake and Disc brake – priced at Rs 65,975 and Rs 69,975 respectively. The BS6 TVS NTorq Race Edition has been priced at Rs 72,455 (all, ex-showroom).
Compared to their BS4 version, the BS6-compliant Drum, Disc and Race Edition are around Rs 6,513, Rs 9,980 more expensive respectively. Prices of the Race Edition have gone up by Rs 7,530. Read – New TVS-BMW Motorcycle to be launched in 2021
The power source of the BS6 TVS NTorq is the same 124.79cc, single-cylinder 3-valve engine that has been updated to meet stringent emission standards. The bikemaker hasn’t yet revealed the exact power and torque figures of the updated motor. Though, it’s likely to remain unchanged. In its BS4 version, the air-cooled engine delivers power worth 9.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.5Nm at 5,500rpm.
The BS6 TVS NTorq would have equipped with fuel injection (FI) technology replacing the carburettor. The FI system optimizes combustion and reduces carbon emission by controlling the rate of fuel-air mixture reaching to the engine. The scooter’s exhaust system might also receive component updates. Launched in 2018, the TVS NTorq is the most powerful scooter from the Chennai-based two-wheeler maker. With the NTorq, the company had introduced the SmartXonnect Bluetooth-enabled connected technology system. In September 2019, TVS rolled out the Race Edition of the scooter with minor cosmetic changes and new colour schemes.
