2020 Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift – 5 Things To Know
The Japanese carmaker is ready to give a mid-life update to its two popular models – Toyota Fortuner SUV and Toyota Innova Crysta MPV. In fact, the company has started testing the Fortuner facelift on the foreign land. The SUV’s updated model will be first one to arrive in India, followed by the 2020 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift. 1. Revised Styling
Minor changes are likely to be made on the exterior. The new Innova Crysta might feature revised LED headlamps and bumper at the front end. The taillight clusters could also be replaced with new units. Design bits such as hexagonal front grille with two chrome slats, fog lamp assembly and alloy wheels are likely to be carried over from the current model.
2. Updated Interior
We expect that the 2020 Toyota Innova Crysta get an updated touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. 3. Same Engines
Built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, the Innova Crysta facelift will continue to come with the BS6-compliant 2.4L diesel and 2.7L petrol engines. While the oil burner makes a top power of 148bhp with 343Nm of torque, the gasoline motor delivers 164bhp with 245Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox with RWD (rear-wheel-drive) will be standard and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission will be optional.
4. Expected Price
Currently, the Toyota Innova Crysta petrol comes in the price range of Rs 15.36 lakh – Rs 23.02 lakh. Prices of the diesel models start from Rs 16.14 lakh and go up to Rs 23.02 lakh. 5. Expected Launch
There is no official word on its launch timeline. Though, reports suggest that the updated Innova Crysta might hit showrooms by the end of this year or early next year.
