2020 Honda Jazz Facelift Spotted – Top 4 Changes
2020 Honda Jazz BS6 has already been confirmed by the carmaker. Its launch date, however, is yet to be announced. Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis and the nationwide lockdown, the new Jazz launch might be delayed. Recently, the hatchback’s updated model was spotted testing in the Northern India. Here’re the top changes that will be made to the new Jazz hatchback.
Slightly Revised Styling
Cosmetic changes are likely to be minimal, but good enough to give a refreshing look. Globally, the Jazz had entered into its new generation a few years back. Though, the all-new model didn’t make its way to India. If the 2020 Honda Jazz facelift is anything to go by, we can expect it to feature sleeker grille, revised LED headlamps and front bumper.
Updated Interior
Similarly, the interior will receive subtle feature upgrades. The hatchback might get an updated 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with latest smartphone connectivity and navigation. Features such as voice command, IR remote control, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob will continue to be reserved for the top-spec trim. BS6 Engines
As mentioned above, the 2020 Honda Jazz facelift will come with the BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol models will have the BS6 1.2L motor that’s good enough for 90bhp and 110Nm of torque. The diesel variants will source power from the BS6 1.5L oil burner delivering 100bhp against 200Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox will be standard, while a CVT automatic transmission will be offered only on the 1.2L petrol variants.
Pricing
Prices of the updated Jazz are likely to be more or less similar to the existing model that costs between Rs 7.45 lakh – Rs 9.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The model lineup will continue to come in 4 petrol and 3 diesel variants spread across three trims – S, V and VX.
