The Indo-Japanese carmaker will soon roll out the updated Vitara Brezza in the country. Official bookings have already been commenced and its media drive is scheduled to happen in the last week of February. Price announcement, though, is likely to happen by the end of March or early April, 2020. It will be the first mid-life update for the subcompact SUV. Previewed at the recently-concluded Auto Expo, the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza has witnessed significant changes inside and out.

Ahead of its official launch, the variant details of the vehicle have surfaced on the web. The 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift will be offered in 4 trims (LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+) equipped with a new BS6-compliant 1.5L petrol engine. The new gasoline motor will replace the existing BS4 1.3L diesel unit. The 1.5L petrol mill with SHVS mild hybrid technology will be exclusively offered on the top-spec trims.

This time around, the Vitara Brezza has received a new 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. A 5-speed manual transmission continues to come as standard. The new SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system is one of the major updates inside the cabin. Similar to previous version, it supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The updated Vitara Brezza also gets auto dimming IRVMs and auto folding ORVMs.

You will also get 3 new dual-tone colours in the lineup, namely, Sizzling Red with Midnight Black Roof, Granite Grey with Autumn Orange Roof and Torque Blue with Midnight Black Roof. Design has also been revised with subtle updates. The new Vitara Brezza facelift gets LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, a new grille, dual-tone diamond cut 16-inch alloy wheels and revised LED taillamps.
