2020 Hyundai i20 Interior Revealed – More Spacious and Premium

2020 Hyundai i20 Interior

Hyundai i20 premium hatchback is all set to enter into its third-generation in coming months. While the carmaker has already revealed its exterior design details, now its interior comes into light. Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” design language continues inside the cabin. The 2020 Hyundai i20 is better equipped and premium than the current generation. A floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is the major attraction of its interior.

Similar to the existing unit, the info system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new Bose sound system with 8 speakers will ensure quality entertainment. The hatchback also comes with a 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel with 10.25-inch all-digital TFT screen instrument cluster.

Features such as the newly-designed dashboard, new LED ambient lighting and wireless charging will further enhance its premium feel and appeal. The hatchback will be equipped with Hyundai BlueLink connected car technology as we have seen in the second-generation Creta.

The Europe-spec 2020 Hyundai i20 will measure 4040mm in length. The India-spec version, on the other hand, will continue to measure under 4-metres.  The premium hatchback will witness significant cosmetic changes including the hexagonal grille, angular and newly-designed headlamps, revised fog lamps, LED brake lights, wider ORVMs, all-new wing mirror and newly-designed alloy wheels.

2020 Hyundai i20 Side

The 2020 Hyundai i20 will receive a 1.0L turbocharged GDI petrol engine that’s good enough for 99bhp. The premium hatchback will also come with a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine option. While the former makes 83bhp, the latter delivers a peak power of 115bhp. There will be two gearboxes on offer – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter.
