2020 Hyundai Creta To Deliver More Mileage Than Kia Seltos

Recently, we have brought you variant and feature details of the 2020 Hyundai Creta that’s slated to hit showrooms on 17th March. Now, the mileage figures have been leaked on the web. The new-generation Hyundai Creta will be offered with three engine options – a 1.5L petrol, a 1.5L diesel and a 1.4L turbo petrol.

While 1.5L petrol and diesel motors will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the 1.4L turbocharged unit will be paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

As per the leaked information, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will be slightly more fuel efficient than its arch rival – Kia Seltos. While the 1.5L petrol and diesel engines will return a mileage of 16.8kmpl, the 1.4L turbo motor will promise fuel economy of 21.4kmpl. The new Creta might also be offered with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox that will be reserved for the 1.5L diesel engine. Its mileage details are yet to be revealed. The SUV lineup will include a total of 14 variants and 10 colour options (8 single tone and 2 dual tone).

New Hyundai Creta Specs

Ahead of its official launch, the carmaker released interior sketches of the new Creta revealing some interesting details. Save for the new grille inserts and alloy wheel design, the India-spec model looks exactly similar to the one on sale in the Chinese market.

Its dashboard and steering wheel seem inspired by the new Hyundai Sonata, while the fully digital instrument cluster could be sourced from the new Verna facelift.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will get a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with landscape setup. For the first time, the SUV will receive an electronic parking brake. Features such as automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cooled seats, perforated seats, dual-tone (black and beige) interior and wireless charging will also be on offer.
