2020 Hyundai Creta To Come In 14 Variants and 10 Colours

The South Korean carmaker has confirmed that it will introduce the second-generation Hyundai Creta on 17th March, 2020. While the launch is a few weeks away, its variants and colour details have surfaced on the web. According to the leaked scan, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will be offered in 14 variants (7 diesel and 7 petrol) spread across four trims – E, EX, S, SX and SX (O).

The SUV will come in a choice of 10 colour schemes including 8 monotone and 2 dual-tone shades. The single tone paint schemes are Galaxy Blue, Typhoon Silver, Mulbery Red, Polar White, Lava Orange, Phantom Black and Titan Grey. The dual-tone colour schemes are Orange with Black roof and White with Black roof.

New Hyundai Creta Specs

With the generation change, the Hyundai Creta will receive a new set of engines borrowed from the Kia Seltos. There will be a 1.5L petrol, a 1.4 turbo petrol and a 1.5L diesel powertrain generating 115bhp with 145Nm, 140bhp with 242Nm and 115bhp with 250Nm respectively. The 1.5L petrol variants can be had either with a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The 1.5L diesel models will come with a 6-speed manual and a torque converter automatic gearbox option. The more powerful, 1.4L turbo petrol motor will be paired to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

2020 Hyundai Creta Mileage

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be equipped with the electronic parking brake (EPB) that auto holds the vehicle by applying brakes in an emergency situation. There will also be a newly-designed dashboard, Sonata-inspired steering wheel, perforated seats with criss-cross design, dual-tone (black and beige) interior theme and a few more new features. With comprehensive cosmetic changes, the new-generation Creta looks more aggressive. Some of its key updates include a new cascading grille, triple LED headlamps with LED DRLs, contrasting roof rails, 17-inch diamond cut alloys, blacked out pillars, LED high mount stop lamp and body cladding.
