2020 Hyundai Creta Interior & Features Explained
Hyundai India is all set to launch the second-generation Creta on coming 17th March. We have already seen its exterior in flesh and now its interior details have been revealed in new pictures. Interior of the 2020 Hyundai Creta is surely better equipped and up-market than the outgoing model. The dual-tone beige and black interior, all-black dashboard with brush aluminum inserts and AC vents with red inserts give it sporty appeal.
The new Creta offers a flat bottom, leather wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls. There is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting latest smartphone connectivity.
You can also notice a 7-inch TFT display instrument cluster placed behind the steering wheel. This fully digital instrument unit has a speedometer in the centre, a fuel level indicator and engine temperature gauge on the right side and a tachometer on the left side. For the entertainment purpose, the 2020 Hyundai Creta has an 8-speaker Bose audio system. A 360 degreen camera buttons are integrated in the centre console. The automatic variants get a premium looking gear knob.
Similar to the Kia Seltos, the 2020 Hyundai Creta offers an AQI indicator along with the blue ambient light and a panoramic sunroof adding more to its comfort quotient.
The SUV’s front seats are ventilated and the rear one has 2-step recline function along with headrest with cushion. The next-generation Creta comes with Hyundai’s BlueLink technology offering over 50 connectivity features in multiple categories.
For the first time, Hyundai compact SUV gets an electric parking brake with auto hold function. Though, it will be reserved for the top-end variant. The standard safety kit includes dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, high speed alert, seat belt reminder, speed sensing door locks and ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution). Features such as ESC (electronic stability control), VSM (vehicle stability management), HAC (hill-assist control) and rear disc brakes are available in higher trims.
Compared to the current generation, the 2020 Hyundai Creta is bigger and offers more cabin space. Now, it measures 4300mm in length, 1790mm in width and has a 2610mm long wheelbase.
Buyers will have 10 colours to choose from Lava Orange with Phantom Black, Polar White with Phantom Black, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Polar White, Titan Grey, Galaxy Blue, Lava Orange, Deep Forest (only on turbo variant) and Red Mulberry.
The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be available with three powertrains – a 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol (with 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox), a 115hp, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel (with 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic gearbox) and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol mill (with 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox only).
