The new 2019 Yamaha R25 will witness noticeable cosmetic and feature upgrades along with VVA technology.

Yamaha Motor Company is working on the new-generation YZF R25 that will go on sale in global markets sometime next year. While the official launch is months away, a digital rendering of the bike has emerged on the web. The new 2019 Yamaha R25 will witness noticeable design changes along with a range of new features. The updated version of the bike will feature LED headlamps with a faux RAM air intake and revised tail section. It will get more race-like fairing and gills on the tank. The side profile of the new 2019 Yamaha R25 will look largely identical to the current-generation model.

Suspension mechanism of the new-generation Yamaha YZF R25 will also be upgraded. This time around, the bike will get radically mounted brake calibers. Currently, the Yamaha R25 comes with a 249cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine benefited with fuel injection technology. This powertrain dishes out a peak power of 36PS at 12,000rpm and 22.6Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. However, the power and torque figures of the new 2019 Yamaha R25 might vary. In India, the Yamaha R25 is retailed with bigger capacity engine as the Yamaha R3 that received an update in February 2018. The latter one takes on the TVS Apache RR310, KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
