2019 Volkswagen Polo, Ameo, Vento Black & White Editions Launched

The Volkswagen Polo and Vento have received A new ‘Deep Black’ colour.

In a bid to increase its sales in the Indian market, Volkswagen India today introduced special black & white editions for its models – Polo, Vento and Ameo. In addition to the black & white editions, the Polo and Vento have also received A ‘Deep Black’ colour. Just so you know, these are not facelifts but minor cosmetic updates.

Available on select trim levels, Volkswagen Polo, Ameo and Vento Black & White editions receive new body graphics, black & white leatherette seat covers, roof edge spoiler, glossy-finished rear spoiler, 16-inch alloys, black-coloured roof, black ORVMs and B&W badge. All these changes make the new editions look quite sporty and people who like blackened treatment on their cars would surely find these attractive. Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars said, “The Polo & Vento have been strong contenders within their segments. Adding a dash of style, these enhanced feature offerings further make an attractive value proposition for our discerning customers. In turn giving them the power of choice within the Volkswagen product portfolio.”

As mentioned earlier, these are just cosmetically updated versions of the vehicles and thus have received no mechanical changes. That means, the Polo and Ameo will continue to be offered with 1.0-litre petrol, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines.
