The 2019 Porsche Macan facelift receives several design changes; majority of them offered at the rear.

The Macan SUV has been the most successful model for the Porsche in terms of sales globally. The company has delivered over 3.5 lakh units of this model since its inception in 2014. In order to further boost sales, Porsche has introduced a mid-life facelift of Macan. The 2019 Porsche Macan facelift receives several design changes; majority of them offered at the rear.

The front fascia of the car comes with minimal changes like the revised LED headlight and bumper. However, the rear comes with majority of the changes in the form of new full-width tail-light strip featuring a standard LED setup. The 2019 Porsche Macan gets a new Miami Blue paint job, which joins the existing shades including Dolomite Silver Metallic, Crayon, and Mamba Green Metallic. Inside the cabin, the SUV receives an updated centre console that sports a larger touchscreen for the infotainment system. It measures 11-inches, while the previous model was equipped with a 7-inch unit. The touchscreen infotainment also gets new technologies like intelligent voice control and real-time traffic info. The SUV also gets a smartphone application that allows owner to record off-road experience.

Other changes inside the cabin include the GT sports steering wheel, which is directly lifted from the Porsche 911. It comes as optional and features a built-in Sport Response Button if user opted for the Sports Chrono Package. The company has also made changes to the chassis to improve ride and quality. Adding to it, the SUV also gets new tires. Engine details are yet to be announced, but media reports claim that all powertrains will be tuned for more power. The 2019 Macan will first go on sale in the Chinese market, followed by others towards the end of this year.
