The Stuttgart based luxury car manufacturer, Porsche has announced prices of the 2018 Panamera Sport Turismo for the Indian market. The 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo carline is available in two variants – Turbo and Turbo S E-Hybrid – priced at Rs 2.08 crore and Rs 2.38 crore respectively.
Official bookings for the car have already begun across the nation. One can pre-book the car by paying an initial sum of Rs 10 lakh. Though, the deliveries will be commenced in the first week of January 2018. Interestingly, the 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is the first production estate car from the German carmaker. At the heart of the 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is a 4.0-litre twinturbo V8 petrol engine generating a whopping power of 550bhp and 770Nm of torque. The plug-in hybrid version of the car uses a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 petrol engine and an electric motor. The Turbo S E-Hybrid is more powerful than standard variant making 680bhp (550bhp petrol + 126bhp electric motor) of power and 850Nm of torque.
While the Turbo can accelerate 0-100kmph in 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 304kmph, the Turbo S E-Hybrid is capable to mark 100kmph from standstill in 3.4 seconds offering a top speed of 310kmph. The electric range of the plug-in hybrid version is 49km. Both the variants come with an 8-speed PDK dual clutch automatic gearbox, supported by Porsche Traction Management (PTM) active AWD system. In the Panamera range, the Sport Turismo variant is the first car to feature 3-seats arrangement (2+1) at the rear. It measures 5,049mm in length, 1,937mm in width and 1,432mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,950mm. The car offers a luggage space of 520-litres, which is around 20-litre more than the Panamera. One can expand this space to up to 1,390-litres by folding the rear seats making it 50-litres bigger than the Panamera.
