New-gen Maruti Wagon R gets a new 1.2-litre petrol engine that powers the Swift hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the all-new WagonR hatchback in the country on January 23, 2019. Ahead of the launch, clear exterior and interior pictures of the new model have been leaked online. The images suggest that the new model look completely different than the outgoing model.

The 2019 Maruti Wagon R will be based on the modified version of the existing platform and it will meet all the safety regulations of the upcoming crash test norms. The hatchback comes with signature Maruti’s grille with Suzuki badge at the centre, wrap-around almond-shaped headlamps, new bumper with wider air-dams and new tail-lights. The hatchback gets partially blacked-out C-Pillar that offers a floating roof effect to the all-new WagonR.
