Ford is all set to launch the 2019 Figo facelift in the Indian market on March 15, 2019. The hatchback will receive multiple changes in terms of styling, interior features and mechanics. Bookings for the new model have already been started at dealership level. Just to jog your memory, Ford has already launched the updated versions of the Aspire and Endeavour in India.

The 2019 Ford Figo facelift is also expected to receive the eco-friendly CNG variant, though official announcement is yet to be made. A new media report claims that the 2019 Ford Figo will come in 3 variants – Ambiente, Titanium and a new Titanium BLU. Styling changes will be in-line with the new Aspire facelift. It will get the new honeycomb front grille, re-profiled bumpers and headlights and a dual-tone roof. The hatchback rides on larger 15-inch alloy wheels.

The interior of the 2019 Ford Figo will receive major upgrades in the form of new dashboard layout. The interior will share strong resemblance with the Ford Aspire and Freestyle. It will come equipped with new features like keyless entry, push-button start, automatic headlamps, adjustable rear headrest, rain sensing wupers and Navigation. It will miss out on Ford’s new SYNC3 infotainment system.

The 2019 Ford Figo facelift will be equipped with all the necessary safety features to comply with upcoming safety norms. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, seat-belt reminder and speed alert system will be offered as standard. The top-spec model will get the six-airbags. Majority of the changes will be made under the hood. It will be powered by a new 96bhp, 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Dragon Series petrol engine paired to a new 5-speed manual gearbox. The Figo Sport model will receive the new 123bhp, 1.5-litre Dragon engine, which will be paired to a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The diesel version will get the tried & tested 100bhp, 1.5-litre unit coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
