Let’s take a look at how the new Ford Endeavour 2019 facelift has been stacked up against the Toyota Fortuner.
Ford India has launched the 2019 Endeavour facelift in the country. Available with the same engine options (2.2L diesel and 3.2L diesel), the SUV’s updated model receives subtle cosmetic and feature changes. Visually, the new Ford Endeavour 2019 facelift receives a new, more prominent chrome grille, new bumpers with integrated skid plates, newly-designed 18-inch alloy wheels, ORVMs with puddle lamps, larger airdam and horizontal fog lamps.
The SUV lineup also gets a new Diffused Silver colour scheme along with regular four shades. Interior of the new Ford Endeavour 2019 facelift has also been revised with a pack of new features including an 8-inch touchscreen SYNC3 infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity, 8-way power adjustable driver & front passenger seat, a push-button engine start/stop function, hands-free power lift gate, semi-auto parallel park assist and 7 airbags. The 2019 Endeavour gets three variants – 2.2 MT 4X2 Titanium, 2.2L 4X2 AT Titanium+ and 3.2L 4X4 AT Titanium+. And the Fortuner model lineup is spread across three trims – 2.8L MT 4X2, 2.8L 4X2 AT and 2.8L 4X4 AT. The entry-level variant of the Endeavour costs Rs 28.19 lakh, thus making it Rs 1.4 lakh more affordable than the Fortuner’s base version that’s priced at Rs 29.59 lakh. The Endeavour’s 2.2L 4X2 AT Titanium+ and the fully-loaded 3.2L 4X4 AT Titanium+ variants are Rs 78,000 and Rs 31,000 less expensive than the Fortuner 2.8L 4X2 AT and 2.8 4X4 AT trims respectively. The new Ford Endeavour 2019 facelift’s new 2.2L 4X2 AT Titanium+ variant costs Rs 30.60 lakh as opposed to Fortuner’s 2.8L 4X2 AT model. While the range-topping version of Endeavour is priced at Rs 32.97 lakh, the Fortuner’s 2.8L 4X4 AT trim is available at Rs 33.28 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
