The new Tata Tigor Facelift comes at a starting price of Rs 5.20 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 7.38 lakh for the diesel version.

Tata Motors has launched the 2018 Tata Tigor facelift in the country. The new model comes at a starting price of Rs 5.20 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 7.38 lakh for the diesel version. The sedan also gets a new Egyptian Blue paint scheme. The 2018 Tigor comes with changes to both exterior and interior.

At the front, the sedan gets revised headlights that have squared chrome elements. Other changes on the outside include chrome elements for clear-lens tail-lights and a shark-fin antenna, chrome highlights on the door handles, front bumper, grille and the fog lamp housings. The 2018 Tata Tigor facelift also gets a new top-spec XZ+ trim, which is equipped with a large 7.0-inch Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto. This system will also serve as a display for the reverse camera. This top-spec variant come equipped with several new features like faux-leather upholstery, power-folding wing mirrors with integrated blinkers, driver’s height adjustable seat and a shark fin antenna. Mechanically, the Tata Tigor facelift remains the same. The petrol model plonks the 1.2-litre, Revotron engine with 83.8bhp and 114Nm of torque. Diesel-powered Tigor sources power from the 1.05-litre Revotorq unit tuned to make maximum power of 69.04bhp and 140Nm of torque. A conventional five-speed manual transmission is standard on the carline, albeit an AMT unit is offered as optional.
