The new Suzuki Bandit 150 is powered by a DOHC and liquid-cooled 147.3cc engine that also powers the performance-oriented GSX 150 twins.

Japanese two-wheeler automaker, Suzuki has unveiled the new Bandit 150cc naked motorcycle for the Indonesian market at the 2018 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show). It is based on the GSX-S150 street bike.

The Suzuki Bandit 150 will not go on sale in India as Suzuki is already providing the Gixxer 150 naked streetfighter in our market. In fact, the company will launch the updated Gixxer in India in 2019. The 2018 Bandit 150 is developed for Indonesian market and has been positioned below the sporty GSX-S150. In terms of features, the 2018 Bandit 150 gets a trapezoidal-shaped LED headlamp, fully-digital instrument console and fuel tank with large extensions. Instead of split seats, the bike gets single-seat for enhanced comfort. Other features include centre-set foot pegs, flat handlebar and LED tail-light. Suzuki Bandit 150 Features

THe new Suzuki Bandit 150 is powered by a DOHC and liquid-cooled 147.3cc engine that also powers the performance-oriented GSX 150 twins. This single-cylinder engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 19.2bhp and a peak torque of 14Nm. The Gixxer on sale in India gets an air-cooled engine, which offers 14.8bhp and 14Nm of torque. The Bandit 150 comes equipped with a six-speed gearbox, while the India-spec Gixxer gets a 5-speed gearbox.

For suspension duties, the motorcycle gets a telescopic front fork and a monoshock unit at the back. Braking system gets disc brakes on both wheels. It misses out on ABS system, while India-spec Gixxer model gets ABS. It will be positioned below the GSX-S150, which is retailed at Rs 1.17 lakh in Indonesia.
