2018 Honda Dio Deluxe comes with LED headlights, all-digital console, four-in-one ignition key and two new matte colours

Japanese two-wheeler automaker, Honda has introduced the new Deluxe variant of the popular Dio Scooter in the Indian market. The new 2018 Honda Dio Deluxe Scooter is priced at Rs 53,292 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new Deluxe is the top-end variant and is around 3,000 expensive than the regular Dio variant.

Along with standard variants, the 2018 Honda Dio Deluxe comes with LED headlights and an all-digital console. Both these features are offered for the first time with the Dio range. The new model also comes equipped with four-in-one ignition key, which is already available in the Honda Grazia. This ignition key also comes with a separate switch to open the seat. Adding to it, the 2018 Honda Dio Deluxe also comes equipped with optional mobile charging point under the seat. While the overall styling of the scooter is largely identical to the standard model, the Deluxe variant gets gold-finished wheels. The scooter is being offered in two new matte shades – Marshal Green Metallic and Axis Grey Metallic. With new variant, Honda aims to target youngsters. It will directly rival the Yamaha Ray ZR, Hero Duet 110, Suzuki Lets and TVS Wigo.

2018 Honda Dio Deluxe Specs

In terms of mechanics, the 2018 Honda Dio Deluxe variant is the same as the standard Dio. It is powered by the Activa 5G-sourced 110cc, air-cooled motor that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 7.8bhp and a peak torque of 8.9Nm. It is coupled to a CVT automatic gearbox. Like the standard variant, the Dio Deluxe will be highly fuel efficient. It returns around 60kmpl.

2018 Honda Dio Deluxe Braking System

For braking duties, the new Dio Deluxe variant comes with 130mm drum brakes on both ends. Besides, it also gets CBS (Combined Brake System) as standard.
