Toyota Innova HyCross will make its global debut in Indonesia as Innova Zenix in November 2022. The model will be designed on the lightweight monocoque platform and look slightly different from the existing Innova Crysta. Reports suggest that the new MPV will be offered with the 2.0L petrol and 2.0L petrol with strong hybrid powertrain options. In India, the company might introduce the Innova HyCross with its heavily localized version of the THS II (Toyota Hybrid System). The setup includes a twin-motor layout that’s said to improve its fuel efficiency and high ‘step-off’ torque. 2022 Maruti Swift Launch

The next-generation Suzuki Swift is reported to have its world premiere in December 2022. The hatchback’s new model will make its to India sometime next year. Under the hood, the 2023 Maruti Swift will feature a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.2L NA petrol unit with mild hybrid tech. It can be had with either a manual or an AMT gearbox. This time around, the hatchback might be offered with the CNG kit option. In global markets, Suzuki will introduce the new-gen Swift Sport with a 1.4L Boosterjet turbo petrol motor. 2022 MG Hector facelift Teaser

The 2022 MG Hector facelift will hit showrooms before the end of 2022. Though, its official launch date is yet to be announced. A few upgrades will be made to its design and interior. The SUV will receive a new dual-tone interior with a bigger 14-inch portrait HD touchscreen infotainment system supported by Next-Gen i-SMART tech. The carmaker says that the new Hector’s interior is conceptualized as a ‘Symphony of Luxury’ featuring dual-tone theme with rich brushed metal finish, leather finish dashboard, gear shift and steering wheel. It will also get a new digital instrument cluster and chrome finish on the air con vents and steering wheel. The SUV’s updated model will continue to use the 141bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol and 168bhp, 2.0L turbo diesel engines. More details here…

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Launch

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will be the next model to roll out under the carmaker’s stable in India. The SUV will be made available in 7 and 9-seats configurations along with an ambulance version. The ambulance variant will have seating capacity of 4 adults with a patient bed. For power, the Bolero Neo Plus will use the Thar’s 2.2L mHawk diesel engine. Though, the oil burner could be detuned for the three-row SUV. In terms of dimensions, it will measure 4400mm in length, 1795mm in width and 1812mm in height. The SUV’s wheelbase will stand at 2680mm. The entry-level variant of the Bolero Neo Plus are likely be around Rs 10 lakh and its range-topping model will cost nearly Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). New 2022 Mahindra XUV300

The carmaker has already released teaser of the 2022 Mahindra XUV300 facelift that’s likely to arrive before the end of 2022. Minimal cosmetic changes are expected to be made to the SUV. In fact, its interior layout and features will also be carried forward from the existing. The updated XUV300 will feature Mahindra’s new Twin Peaks logo at the front. For power, it will use the same 1.2L petrol engine making power worth 110bhp. The diesel variants will source power from the 1.5L unit that pushes out 115bhp with 300Nm.
