Citroen C5-Aircross India

Delhi Auto Expo, the world’s second largest and Asia’s biggest automotive show, is all set to begin on 7th February, 2020. The biennial event will witness unveiling and launch of several new vehicle concepts and products. But like previous couple of editions of the Expo, some car manufactures have chosen to give it a miss including Toyota, Nissan, Ford and Fiat. However, we’ll see new carmakers like MG Motor and Great Wall Motors making their debut at the event. There were rumours of Citroen taking part this year, but unfortunately that won’t happen. The news has been confirmed to us by the French carmaker.

Production of the vehicle will take place at the company’s Hosur-based plant in Tamil Nadu with around 95% of local components.

While the C5 Aircross will be put up against the Jeep Compass, MG Hector and Tata Harrier, the mid-sized SUV will take head-to-head against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Nissan Kicks.
