Maruti Suzuki had launched the new version of its popular B-segment hatchback – Swift at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. The hatchback has received an overwhelming response from car buyers. At the time of launch, Maruti Suzuki has announced a range of modification accessories to improve the overall styling of the new Swift. Seen here is one of the first examples of the accessorized Maruti Suzuki Swift. This particular model is a VXi petrol version, which is equipped with several features inside and out.

The accessories fitted in this model cost Rs 1.43 lakh. After dealer-level discount, the price of these accessories has come down to Rs 1.17 lakh. These accessories are available through Maruti’s iCreate personalization program. This particular model is equipped with 31 new accessories. The exterior of the hatchback is fitted with several accessories like new body decals for the front bumper and bonnet, a lid spoiler, new garnish for fog lamps, door visors, new alloy wheels and scuff guards at the front, side and rear. New Maruti Swift 2018 Review

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift VXi petrol is powered by a tried & tested 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 82bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The diesel version of the car gets a 1.3-litre DDiS engine producing 74bhp and 190Nm of torque. Both 5-speed manual and AMT options are on offer. The company is also planning to launch a sportier version of the Swift in the country. It is expected to be powered by a 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine that is good for 140bhp and 230Nm. The company could also introduce the RS variant of the car, which will be equipped with a 100bhp, 1.0-litre Boosterjet petrol engine.
