Scheduled to be launched in 2018, the new VW T-Cross compact SUV will rival the Hyundai Creta.
We informed you earlier that Volkswagen will launch the Polo based T-Cross SUV in the global markets in 2018. If media reports are to be believed, the compact SUV is also coming to India to rival Hyundai Creta. It will be based on the VW Group’s MQB-AO platform that also underpins the Volkswagen Virtus sedan. This model has been spotted testing in the snow. Going by the pictures, it is visible that the SUV will follow the VW family design.
The new VW T-Cross shares design cues from the T-ROC crossover, but it will get a rugged SUV-like styling.
