4. Bajaj Pulsar RS400
At the Auto Expo 2014, the company showcased the RS400 (Racing Sport) concept alongside the Cruiser Sport 400 concept. This will be the second 400cc bikes to join the list of upcoming new sports bikes in India that will cost under Rs. 2 lakh. While the former is a fully faired motorcycle, the later is a cruiser sport model which is scheduled to be launched in August 2016. Like the CS400, the Racing Sport is powered by a 373.2cc single-cylinder engine that is likely to produce around 38bhp of power and 35Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The race sport looks largely identical to the RS200. It will be based on the perimeter frame chassis featuring huge fairing, stylish fuel tank and new tail-lamps. Talking about features, the bike has analogue tachometer, digital speedometer, and a new small screen that displays rest of the details. The suspension mechanism comprises of telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear. It will also get ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).
