TVS Motor Company had showcased the TVS Dazz 110cc scooter at the 13th edition of the Delhi Auto Expo in 2016. Interestingly, the company has started testing the scooter on Indian roads, indicating that the scooter could be launched in the market. This scooter is popular in international markets and is currently on sale in several markets like Indonesia. In the Indonesian market, the Dazz is available in both carburetted and fuel-injected versions. However, the India-spec model will be offered with carburetted engine. TVS Dazz 110 Launch Date
The company is yet to reveal the launch details of the new Dazz 110cc scooter, but this scooter has been spotted testing near TVS plant in Hosur. It is expected that the scooter could be launched in early 2018 and a possible launch at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo can’t be ignored. TVS Dazz 110 Design
The Dazz 110cc scooter is manufactured and sold in Indonesia. To be sold alongside TVS Zest, this 110cc scooter gets conventional design with sleek and sharp design highlights. It will come with automatic headlamp on function, stylish body graphics, single seat with pillion grab rail and newly designed tail-light. This scooter rides on 14-inch wheel that’s the same size tyres available in the Aprilia SR150. The TVS Dazz 110cc scooter measures 1,240mm in wheelbase, 115mm in ground clearance and has a fuel tank of 5.1-litre capacity. This step-through scooter weighs just 93kg, which turns into higher fuel efficiency and improved performance.
TVS Dazz 110 Specifications
The scooter showcased at the 2016 Motor Show was equipped with a new engine with Digitech technology that is powered by Digital Fuel injection. India-spec model is likely to feature carburetted version of the engine. This 109.65cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine with SOHC is capable of producing a maximum power output of 8.7bhp at 7,500rpm along with a peak torque of 8.7Nm at 5,500rpm. It is paired to a CVT gearbox to drive power to the rear wheel.
TVS Dazz 110 Mileage
Weighing just 93kgs, the new Dazz scooter is likely to offer high fuel efficiency. We expect that the scooter will have a claimed mileage of over 60kmpl. In real world conditions, it should deliver over 50kmpl.
TVS Dazz 110 Suspension & Braking
For braking, the new scooter comes with a 200mm disc brake at front and 130mm drum brake at the rear along with a brake lever lock. The suspension duties will be carried out by a telescopic fork and single-shock absorber at the front and rear, respectively.
