TVS Motors had launched the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V naked streetfighter in the country earlier this year. The motorcycle now wins the 2017 Indian Motorcycle of the Year award. As you known, the IMOTY awards held every year to award the most rightful two-wheler launched in the current calendar year.
This year’s IMOTY witnessed several capable bikes & scooters such as Kawasaki Versys 650, Honda Navi, Royal Enfield Himalayan, TVS Apache 200, Hero Splendor iSmart 110, Bajaj V15 and others. As a reminder, the Apache RTR 200 4V is available in multiple trims – Carburettor, Carburettor with ABS, Fuel injected and fuel injected with ABS. All these trims also get Pirelli tyres as optional fitment. Priced at Rs 89,215, the new Apache 200 rival the KTM Duke 200 and Bajaj Pulsar NS200.

Talking about features, the new Apache RTR 200 gets dual disc brakes, headlamps with C-shaped LED daytime running lamps, digital instrument console, 12-litre fuel tank, split seats, etc. Dimensionally, the naked sportsbike is 2,050mm in length, 790mm in width and 1,105mm in height, and has a ground clearance of 180mm.
