Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport Launch

Launched on October 2022, the Mahindra XUV300 Turbosport is the more powerful version of the XUV300 subcompact SUV. The new model comes with a 1.2L T-GDi turbo petrol engine that makes a top power of 130bhp and 230Nm of torque (250Nm with overboost function). Transmission duties are performed by a 6-speed manual gearbox. It can do 0 to 60kmph in 5 seconds. The XUV300 Turbosport is claimed to deliver a fuel economy of 18.2kmpl. It comes in three trims – W6, W8 and W8 (O) – priced between Rs 10.35 lakh – Rs 12.90 lakh (all, ex-showroom). More details here…

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder are surely one of the biggest new SUVs launched this year. Both models share their platform, powertrains, features and several design elements. The SUVs are available with the 103bhp, 1.5L K15C petrol mild hybrid and 1.5L Atkinson cycle petrol powertrains and three gearbox options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic and an e-CVT (strong hybrid only). While the Maruti Grand Vitara is available within the price range of Rs 10.45 lakh – Rs 19.45 lakh, the Toyota Hyryder costs between Rs 10.48 lakh – Rs 18.99 lakh. More details here…

Hyundai Venue N Line Specs

Hyundai Venue N Line went on sale in September 2022. It’s based on the facelifted Venue and comes in two trims N6 and N8 priced between Rs 12.16 lakh – Rs 13.15 lakh. Powering the Venue N Line is a 1.0L turbo petrol engine that’s good enough for 120bhp and 172Nm. It can be had with either a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox with paddleshifters or an optional 6-speed iMT. The model carries some sporty design elements to distinguish from the standard model. The Hyundai Venue N Line has dual exhaust pipes with a tweaked exhaust note, updated suspension and steering and all disc brakes. More details here…

Kia Sonet X-Line has been offered in four variants 1.0L petrol X-Line, 1.0L petrol GTX+, 1.5L diesel X-Line and 1.5 diesel GTX+, which are priced at Rs 13.39 lakh, Rs 13.19 lakh, Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 13.79 lakh respectively. All variants come with the 1.0-L turbo petrol DCT and 1.5L diesel automatic engine-gearbox options. The Sonet X-Line has matte grey paint scheme with gloss black accents all around and new dual-tone seat upholstery and door pads inside the cabin. Mahindra & Mahindra announced prices of the all-new Scorpio N and the updated Scorpio Classic in the month of June and August respectively. While the former is currently available within the price range of Rs 11.99 lakh – Rs 23.90 lakh, the latter comes in S and S11 variants cost Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 15.49 lakh respectively. The new Scorpio Classic sources its power from the updated 132bhp/300Nm, 2.2L turbo diesel engine. The Mahindra Scorpio N can be had with either a 2.0L petrol or 2.2L diesel engine. Hyundai’s flagship SUV – Tucson – received a generation change in August 2022. Currently, the SUV model lineup is available in two trims – Platinum and Signature – priced from Rs 27.70 lakh to Rs 34.54 lakh. The 2022 Hyundai Tucson is the first SUV in its segment to offer Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). Engine setup of the SUV includes a 2.0L petrol and a 2.0L diesel motor delivering 156bhp with 192Nm and 186bhp with 416Nm respectively. Major changes have been made to its exterior and interior. The second-generation Maruti Brezza witnessed a market launch in June 2022. The compact USV comes with the significantly improved design and upmarket interior. Powering the new Brezza is a 1.5L K15C petrol engine delivering a claimed mileage of 19.80kmpl (MT) and 201.5kmpl (AT). Its power and torque outputs stand at 103bhp and 137Nm.
