Kia India has finally launched the new Kia Sonet X-Line in the Indian market. The new model is offered in two variants – 1.0L T-GDI 7DCT and 1.5L CRDi 6AT – priced at Rs 13.39 lakh and Rs 13.99 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Pan India). It is the new top-end variant, which comes with multiple changes to differentiate itself from the standard model. Kia Sonet X-Line Exterior, Interior
The new X-Line trim comes with a new Matte Graphite exterior colour scheme. It is offered with the ‘Xclusive Splendid Sage’ dual-tone interior scheme. The SUV rides on new high gloss 16-inch crystal cut alloy wheels. On the outiside, the SUV gets glossy black Tiger nose front grille, piano black diamond knurling pattern, piano black finished front skid plates with metallic accents and dark chrome finish for fog lamp. The new Kia Sonet X-Line has piano black finished ORVMs with integrated LED turn signals, dark metallic garnish for side door, silver finished brake callipers, and matte graphite shark fin antenna. It gets piano black rear skid plate with dark metal accents, and piano black finished dual muffler design. Special X-Line emblem is also embossed at the rear.
Inside the cabin, the SUV gets leatherette sports seats with contrasting orange stitches & X-Line logo. It has a leatherette-wrapped D-cut steering wheel with orange stitching & Sonet logo, and Xclusive premium black headliner. It continues to offer 10.25-inch HD touchscreen with navigation, smartwatch connectivity, Kia Connect with OTA Map updates, Bose premium 7-speaker system, ventilated driver & passenger seats, smart pure air purifier, smartphone wirless charger, rear view camera, traction control, multi-drive modes & paddle shifters.
It comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-assist control, vehicle stability management, brake assist, front & rear parking sensors, projector fog lamps, TPMS, auto headlamps, front disc brakes, etc.
Sonet X-Line Specs
The new X-Line is offered with two engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel. Paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission or DCT, the petrol engine pushes out 120PS at 6,000rpm and 172Nm of torque at 1,500-4,000rpm. The diesel engine is paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox and is capable of producing 115PS at 4,000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1,500-2,750rpm.
