The Indian government will soon reconsider and relax restriction imposed on pricing and engine capacities of imported luxury electric vehicles and superbikes, claims a latest TOI report. Furthermore, the government will also liberalize obligatory local testing conditions for the high-end imported vehicles.
The report further claims that the government will allow carmakers import vehicles with globally accepted certification agencies such as the Euro NCAP.
