Tata H7X To Offer Electronic Parking Brake & More Features

The latest teaser reveals that it will feature a rotary gear selector and an electronic parking brake.

Tata Motors has already confirmed its product lineup for the 2019 Geneva Motor Show that’s scheduled to begin on 5th March. In fact, the carmaker has dropped a few teasers of its upcoming Altroz premium hatchback and H7X 7-seater SUV. The latest teaser of the Tata H7X confirms that the SUV will feature a rotary gear selector and an electronic parking brake (EPB) similar to the Jaguar Land-Rover.

The Tata H7X will be the 7-seater version of the Harrier SUV with slightly different styling and a new nameplate. Compared to the Harrier, the H7X will be longer, taller and more feature-loaded. Designed on the OMEGA platform, the SUV will feature sporty body cladding, running boards, roof rails, a longer rear overhang and a coupe styled rear design.

Inside, the Tata H7X will have third row of seats with features such as a large touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, electrically adjustable seats, a leather wrapped dashboard, rear parking camera, brake assist, electrically adjustable seats, traction control, airbags and ABS with EBD. Read – Tata Harrier 7-Seater To Be Named ‘ Tata Buzzard’?

Power source for the Tata H7X will be a 2.0L Kryotec diesel motor generating a peak power of 170bhp with 350Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and an automatic unit. The 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox will be sourced from Hyundai.
