Suzuki has unveiled the much-awaited new Suzuki Vitara compact SUV at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. It is basically the production version of the iV-4 concept showcased at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new Vitara features an aggressive styling that features a twin slat chrome radiator grille which is flanked by peeled back headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. It sports dual-tone exterior scheme with contrasting roof, aggressive creases running across the length, floating roofline and wrap around rear profile.
Inside the cabin, the Vitara SUV features a multi-functional steering wheel, dual-tone dashboard, touchscreen infotainment system, and a clock mounted between the AC vents. The vehicle will get front-wheel drive system as standard, while the ALLGRIP all-wheel drive system will be offered as an optional feature. The 2015 Suzuki Vitara is a global SUV, and will be powered by a range of petrol and diesel engines.
The new Suzuki Vitara will first go on sale in UK market next year. It is expected to come India as well; however, the company hasn’t made any statement on this.
