In India, the Suzuki Gixxer 300 will directly take on the the newly-launched BMW G310R.
Suzuki’s China-based small displacement bikes’ partner, Haojue Motorcycle has unveiled a new 300cc naked streetbike – Haojue DR300 at the 2018 Chongqing Mobo Fair. Based on the Suzuki GW250, the new 300cc bike might also make its way to global markets including India. If launched in India, however, it could be named as Suzuki Gixxer 300 or Suzuki GSX-S300.

For people not in the know, both Haojue and Suzuki manufacture motorcycles exclusively for the Chinese market. Though, the some of them are exported to over 70 different nations across the globe. Considering the high demand of the 300cc bikes in India, the Japanese bikemaker might bring in the Haojue DR300 as Suzuki Gixxer 300 or Suzuki GSX-S300. Suzuki Gixxer 300 Price In India

Suzuki Gixxer 300 Specifications
The Haojue DR300 (Suzuki GSX-S300/Gixxer 300) will make use a 298cc, parallel twin-cylinder, 4 valve, liquid cooled engine, which is likely to be the rebored version of the 250cc motor. The latter delivers 24.4PS at 8,500rpm and 22Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The power and torque figures of the Haojue-developed 298cc unit are yet to be revealed. For transmission purpose, there will be a 6-speed unit.
Suzuki Gixxer 300 Design
The new 300cc naked street bike from Haojue visually appears similar to the Suzuki GSX-S1000. Face of the bike looks aggressive, thanks to its LED headlamp with LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The sculpted fuel tank with extended tank shrouds, raised clip-ons and tail section, split seats, LED taillights and the wedge-shaped exhaust add more to its sporty looks. The Suzuki GSX-S300/Gixxer 300 comes fitted with 10-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 110/70 section front and 140/60 section rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tubeless tyres. Suzuki Gixxer 300 Brakes & Suspension
Braking mechanism of the bike includes 298mm petal disc front and a small rotor brake at the rear. The dual channel ABS will be standard across the model lineup. The damping duties are take care of by USD forks up front and adjustable monoshocks rear suspension units.
Suzuki Gixxer 300 Dimensions
The overall length, width and height of the Haojue DR300 stand at 2,055mm, 720mm and 1,050mm respectively. The naked street bike sits on a 1,420mm long wheelbase and has a kerb weight of 177kgs.
