Skoda Kamiq Monte Carlo Makes Public Appearance At 2019 IAA

Skoda Kamiq Monte Carlo, the sportier version of the Kamiq crossover, has made its first public appearance at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. This new model has been positioned top of the line and receives subtle sporty updates inside and out.

The sportier version of the Kamiq crossover will go on sale by the end of this year. Globally, the smallest SUV from the Czech automaker takes on Nissan Juke, Volkswagen T-Roc and Kia Stonic.

The Skoda Kamiq Monte Carlo also features tinted side windows, a panoramic roof, full-LED taillamps and black rear diffuser. The sportier version of the Kamiq crossover has been assembled with 17-inch/18-inch (optional) black and silver alloy wheels.

The sporty theme continues inside the cabin as well. The Skoda Kamiq Monte Carlo has perforated leather wrapped steering wheel, height adjustable sports seats with headrests and Monte Carlo-inspired upholstery. The dashboard integrated air vents with chrome finish, red accents wind around the cabin, red LED ambient light and aluminum pedals complete its look. The new floor mats and side sills have black ‘Kamiq’ lettering.

The crossover range comes in a choice of 3 engines – a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol (94bhp/113bhp), a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol (148bhp) and a 1.6L, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel (113bhp with 250Nm).
