Revolt RV400 Gets Expensive; Waiting Period Reduced To 90 Days
Revolt Intellicorp has increased price of the Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle that will be applicable from 29th February, 2020. The reason behind the price hike is said to be rise in input costs. Buyers have two purchasing options – My Revolt Plan and Revolt Cash Down plan. While the monthly pay amount under the My Revolt Plan remains unchanged (i.e. Rs 3,999), the installment number has been increased to 38 months from 37 months.
Under the updated Revolt Cash Down plan, buyers have to pay Rs 5,000 more than before. The Revolt RV400 will cost Rs 103,999. The bikemaker has also revealed that the waiting period of the RV400 has been reduced from 5 months to 90 days for new bookings starting from March. Price of the Revolt RV300 remains unchanged.
Currently, the company is selling the Revolt electric bikes in Delhi and Pune. Though, it will soon expand its network in four more cities including Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai. The bikemaker offers introductory benefits for the RV400 and RV300 electric bikes including 8 years/150,000km battery warranty, 5 years/75,000km product warranty, 3 years/30,000km free maintenance benefits and 1 year company owned/5 year third party insurance.
The Revolt RV400’s lithium-ion battery delivers an ARAI-certified range of 156km on a full charge. It’s a removable battery, so it’s easy to charge at home or the workplace via on-board charger. The company is also providing doorstep delivery service for recharged batteries via an app. The bike’s 3kW electric motor produces 175Nm of torque and promises a top speed of 85kmph.
The Revolt RV300, on the other hand, comes with a 1.5kW motor along with a 2.7kW battery pack. With smaller capacity powertrain, the bike delivers a range of 80-150km on a single charge. It can attain a maximum speed of 65kmph. Some of its key features include internet and cloud connected features, MyRevolt app and more.
