The French automaker Renault has now officially unveiled the much anticipated facelifted Renault Duster, which is going to make its way to India soon.
This is the same vehicle which was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in November under Dacia badge. The Renault Duster is already a good looking car, and the cosmetic changes given to the car make it an even more adorable car both from inside and out.
The major change that you see between the Dacia Duster and the India-bound Renault Duster is the dual-slat chrome grille that you can see in the pictures, while the Dacia has honeycomb grille.
Other changes found on the refreshed duster are revised headlamps with double-optic units and daytime running lamps, updated roof rails and a few more, giving it a refreshing look. The changes at the rear include a replaced badge, slightly updated tail-lamps, redesigned scuff plate and chrome-tipped exhaust pipe.
Though the interior of the car looks largely unchanged, the car receives a new instrument cluster, steering-integrated controls and new center console with company’s infotainment system. The refreshed Duster might also come up with the new color that you can see in the pictures. There will be no mechanical changes made to the car, it will continue to come in the 1.5-litre k9k 85PS, 1.5-litre k9k 110PS and a 1.6-litre petrol mill.
The company hasn’t yet announced the launch date of the car, but we are expecting it to be launched after showcasing it at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. As far as the pricing is concerned, we are hoping no change in that.
