New Ford Endeavour 2021 to be More Premium and Sophisticated – Spied
First launched in the end of 2014, the current Ford Everest (Endeavour in India) is all set to receive a new generation model. The next-gen Ford Endeavour 2021 has been spotted for the first time in China. The images also confirm that the SUV is already in advanced development stage. It is expected that the new Endeavour is developed by the Ford teams from China, Thailand and Australia.
Going by the pictures, it is visible that the new Ford Endeavour 2021 will be more sophisticated and technological. Adding to it, the SUV won’t share a lot from the Ranger pickup model. For people not in the know, the Endeavour is based on the Ranger. The new model gets multi-link type rear suspension instead of the traditional rigid axle. This will improve the comfort and stability of the SUV, but off-road capability will be compromised.
The new Endeavour construction will be of the monoblock type instead of a separate chassis from the bodywork. It is expected that Ford Motor Company will position the next-gen Endeavour as a more familiar, comfortable and urban SUV. The SUV’s design seems inspired by the Ford’s larger SUVs including the Explorer.
At the front, the SUV gets split headlamp set-up with LED daytime running lights on the top and main headlamp lower on the bumper. The SUV gets wide rear doors that indicate spacious rear interior space and better facility to access the third row of seats.
Inside the cabin, the Ford Endeavour 2021 will receive newly styled technological panel. The raised central console gets a rotary selector for changing gears, electronic parking brake and several storage compartments. It gets digital instrument console and multimedia system with a screen positioned above the ventilation outlets.
The new Ford Endeavour 2021 will first go on sale in the Chinese market by the end of this year or early 2021. The SUV is expected to arrive in our market in the second half of 2021.
