New BMW X6 India Launch Tomorrow; Expected Price
The third-generation new BMW X6 is expected to be priced under Rs 1 crore for the standard variant.
German luxury carmaker, BMW had launched 2 new cars – the new 8 Series Gran Coupe and the M8 in India earlier this year. The company will launch the all-new BMW X6 coupe-SUV in India tomorrow. It is likely to be offered in 2 variants – xLine and M Sport. The Coupe SUV is expected to be priced under Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom).
The new BMW X6 will directly rival the Audi Q8 and the Porsche Cayenne Coupe. In terms of styling, the third-generation X6 gets a larger signature kidney grille and twin-pod LED headlamps. The new grille can be illuminated and customers can opt for BMW Laserlight with Adaptive LED headlights. The new X6 Coupe SUV comes with sloping roof that merges with the new L-shaped LED tail-lamps. The customers can also opt for an M Sport exhaust system. The M Sport variant will also receive an all-new blackened grille and black alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the 2020 BMW X6 Coupe SUV has two 12.3-inch displays – one for entertainment and one for instrument console. The Coupe SUV comes equipped with features like thermoelectric cup-holders, an ambient air package with eight fragrances and an optional Browers & Wilkins Diamond Surround sound system with 20 speakers. The SUV has long list of features such as BMW Laser lighting, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, nine airbags, a self-park assist, reverse assist and BMW’s 360-degree camera system.
The all-new BMW X6 Coupe SUV is likely to be offered with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of producing 335bhp of power and 450Nm of torque. In the global markets, the X6 is also available with 4.4L V8 petrol engine that produces 523bhp and 750Nm. The diesel version gets a 3.0L six-cylinder engine that offers two states of tunes – 261bhp and 620Nm and 395bhp and 760Nm. An eight-speed Steptronic transmission is available as standard.
