The bumper in front is extended a bit and flows onto the pronounced wheel arches at the side. Another addition to the side is the thick rubber strips with a hint of chrome on it. Besides, it gets a reprofiled bonnet, aftermarket indicators, wing mirrors and a spare-wheel housing on the boot lid. Also See – Top 5 best modified Maruti Swift
While it received cosmetic updates, the SUV remains unchanged under the hood with the same 2.5-litre M2DiCR turbo diesel engine with maximum power of 63bhp against 195Nm torque. The engine continues using a conventional 5-speed manual gearbox for transmitting power to the rear wheels. While the power on this mod Bolero is no match to the original Mercedes Benz G-Wagen, the sturdy engine promises a great performance.
Another engine option on the stock Bolero is the 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo diesel engine with 70bhp and 195Nm torque which comes with the sub 4-meter version.
