Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan To Debut At 2020 Auto Expo

Mercedes Benz A Class India Launch

The German luxury car manufacturer is planning to launch the Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan in the Indian market. The sedan will make its India debut at the Auto Expo next month and its launch will happen in late 2020. It will be brought as a CKD (completely knocked down) unit and then assembled at the carmaker’s Chakan based plant alongside the new-generation CLA and GLA.

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan has been designed on the brand’s MFA (Modular Front Architecture) platform that also underpins the new CLA and GLA. Besides sharing platform, the new sedan will borrow several design bits and components with the four-door coupe and SUV.
