Mahindra Marazzo Petrol Launch

Talking about Mahindra’s future plan, the carmaker will soon bring in the new-generation Thar in the country. The off-road SUV will receive comprehensive changes inside and out along with a set of new engines. There will be a new 2.0L mStallion petrol and the BS6-compliant 2.2L diesel motor delivering power around 190bhp with 380Nm and 140bhp respectively. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.

Prior to the next-generation Thar, the company might roll out the BS6-compliant version of the Mahindra Scorpio and XUV500 SUVs. Both models will have the BS6-ready 2.2L mHawk diesel engine boosted with a 2-way oxidation catalyst, DPF (diesel particulate filter) and SCR (selective catalytic reduction). The power and torque figures could be slight different than their BS4 versions.
