Mahindra XUV300 BS6 Petrol Launched; Prices Start At Rs 8.30 Lakh
Mahindra & Mahindra has rolled out its first BS6-compliant car – the Mahindra XUV300 BS6 petrol. Now, the BS6-ready W4 petrol variant costs Rs 8.30 lakh and the range-topping W8 petrol is priced at Rs 11.84 lakh (all, Pan India).
The petrol variants of the subcompact SUV comes with the BS6-ready 1.2L motor that’s good enough for 110bhp and 200Nm of torque. The company will also upgrade its 1.5L diesel engine before the government’s deadline of April 1, 2020. Read – 4 New Mahindra SUVs To Debut At Auto Expo 2020
The diesel version of the Mahindra XUV300 returns a claimed power of 115bhp with 300Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and an automated manual transmission (AMT) sourced from Magneti Marelli. The AMT variants are available in 3 colour schemes – Aquamarine, Pearl White and Red Rage.
No other changes have been made to the vehicle. The BS6 Mahindra XUV300 measures 3990 mm in length, 1820 mm in width and 1620 mm in height. The Mahindra XUV300 W8 and W8 (O) variants are equipped with several segment-first features such as modes for steering feel, dual-zone climate control with memory function, tyre pressure monitoring systems and front parking sensors. The range-topping W8 (O) variant also offers 7 airbag protection, which is again a class leading feature.
Some of its key features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electric sunroof, cruise control, LED DRLs, LED projector headlamps, thick C-pillar, integrated spoiler on the contrast roof and stylish taillamps.
