Mahindra XUV300 AMT Bookings Open Ahead Of Its Launch
Mahindra XUV300 diesel-AMT will be priced Rs 50,000 premium than the diesel-MT.
Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the XUV300 subcompact SUV early this year. The SUV lineup comes in four trims (W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O)), packed with 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. Both powertrains get a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Now, the carmaker is ready to roll out the diesel AMT (automated manual transmission) variant of the subcompact SUV.
The official launch of the Mahindra XUV300 AMT is slated to happen in July. Ahead of its launch, Mahindra dealerships have started taking pre-bookings for the diesel automatic variant of the vehicle. The diesel-AMT combination is likely to be offered on the mid-level and fully-loaded trims. Compared to the diesel manual version, the new automatic variant will be priced Rs 50,000 premium. Currently, the Mahindra XUV300 diesel is available in the price range of Rs 8.49 lakh – Rs 11.99 lakh. Prices of the petrol variants start from Rs 7.90 lakh and go up to Rs 11.49 lakh. The dual-tone Red Rage and dual-tone Aquamarine paint scheme are available on W8 (O) at an additional cost of Rs 15,000. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Mahindra XUV300’s 1.5L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine delivers 115bhp with 300Nm of torque. The new automatic variant is likely to get Magnetti Marelli-sourced AMT unit. The petrol model makes use of 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbocharged motor generating power worth 110bhp against 200Nm of torque.
